Though the asanas (poses) you will be faced with challenge, and practise of control from transition to transition. There will be moments to pause and take yourself into the stretch for a deeper release or longer moment of stillness.
Pranayama Breathing techniques will be encouraged to calm the body and pranayama. Through exploring these breathing techniques, we can learn how to locate and connect with the breath, understand the anatomy and the mechanism of the breath, find the rhythm of our breath, and understand how energy moves around our bodies.
It improves our relationship with our breathing patterns to induce calm and relaxation and in turn we find a pathway to peace. It also rewards the body with a state of calm.
