Bump & Baby PT

Sophie is passionate about supporting mums through every stage of their journey, from pregnancy to postpartum recovery. She combines years of experience with a compassionate and holistic approach, ensuring her clients feel strong, supported, and empowered throughout this transformative time.

Prenatal Support

Sophie helps expectant mums stay active and comfortable as their bodies change during pregnancy. Her tailored workouts are designed to address common aches, improve posture, and build strength for labor. She pays close attention to energy levels and adapts sessions to match how her clients are feeling that day.

  • First Trimester: Sophie focuses on maintaining overall fitness and energy, with exercises that feel manageable and safe during early pregnancy.

  • Second Trimester: As the bump grows, the focus shifts to improving whole-body strength and flexibility while addressing any changes in posture or discomfort.

  • Third Trimester: Gentle, targeted movements help alleviate discomfort and prepare mums for labor. Breathing techniques and relaxation exercises become a key part of this stage.

Postpartum Recovery

After birth, Sophie works with mums to ease back into exercise safely, usually starting around 6–8 weeks postpartum. She always begins with a diastasis recti check to assess core recovery and designs a plan that rebuilds strength gradually and effectively.

  • Core Restoration: Special focus is placed on healing abdominal separation and strengthening the pelvic floor to support recovery.

  • Emotional Support: Sophie understands the mental and emotional challenges of postpartum life. Her sessions are as much about boosting confidence and reducing stress as they are about physical fitness.

Flexible and Convenient Training Options

Sophie offers the option of home visits, making it easier for mums to fit training into their busy schedules, especially with a newborn. For those who prefer a gym setting, training at Jaego’s and Jesse’s House provides access to high-quality equipment and a welcoming community of other mums.

Sophie also provides workout plans for clients to use between sessions or while away, helping them stay consistent and on track.

Collaborative Care

Sophie believes in a team approach to wellness. If needed, she will refer clients to pelvic health physiotherapists and work closely with them to create the best plan for recovery. Her years of experience and continued education in pre- and postnatal training make her a trusted partner for mums at every stage of motherhood.
